My main objection to this project is that it does not offer the best and most versatile use of the land it is intended to be located on. This is high grade agricultural land which is much more valuable for food production. There are many more suitable sites for solar projects, All new builds should be built with pannels and battery storage. All new warehouses should have solar arrays installed, all car parks could also be utilised in the same way as they are in europe. It is an absolute scandal that our most productive farm land is being used in such a way. It does not benefit nature, the environment or any local communities. Projects such as this are destroying the very environment they are built under the guise of protecting.
