Re: Lack of consultation since revival of project and National Grids Provision for Associated Developments etc. As follows: .No time scale clarified regarding removal of 132Kv pylon from my land and several in fields beyond. .No time scale replacing the 400Kv's. .No time scale regarding access across my land to achieve the removal/construction of pylons. . No information regarding how access for future maintenance will be achieved when work is completed. Regarding Upper Layham and the proposed route. This area should be considered an Area of Outstanding Beauty. Big skies, rolling hills, mature woods, ancient oak and willow trees and the river Brett, where swans have always raised signets each year. But, the row of existing 400Kv pylons dominate the skyline and flank this area to the right. The proposed new second row of 400Kv's will flank to the left. Creating a corridor with my property between rows, therefore causing loss of value to my home and land and potentially making it unsaleable. National Grid state that they are proud of their achievements to remove pylons / over head cables as part of their "Visual Impact Provision" and put cables underground. Upper Layham has not been properly considered for undergrounding even though there will be a huge concentration of old and new 400Kv pylons if the project goes ahead. To continue to place pylons above ground diminishes the beauty of Upper Layham for future generations. Surely, undergrounding is the best way forward.
