I strongly object that the Development Consent Order if agreed to can authorise compulsory acquisition of my home and land. I strongly object to the removal of my independent thoughts of controlling these matters. I do not believe that National Grids position of excessive cost, is an acceptable reason not to put cables underground. I do not believe there are too many examples of cables needing to go under this small river bed i.e. the river Brett here at this particular location in Upper Layham.
