Stonehenge is an extremely important part of our English heritage. I believe, as does UNESCO, that this scheme would cause irreparable damage to an irreplaceable site. I also feel that other schemes should be fully investigated and the options made public. The disturbance to wildlife, flora and rare birds is also a great worry. We are losing much of our green areas and surely this is one that could and should be left undisturbed. I am a frequent visitor to the site - having been there with my parents, my children and my grandchildren. It would be a shame and a great loss if their children and grandchildren did not have this historic site to visit and learn from.
