To proceed with this plan is to go against UNESCO advice, and to put at risk the world heritage site. This must be preserved for future generations.

I believe that permanent damage to the World Heritage Site, its archaeology and setting should not be permitted, particularly as UNESCO's advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. I am concerned that future generations will not have the opportunity to view Stonehenge, or may have to pay to see it. This site belongs to all - not just in England, but is a hugely important world-wide site, and must be preserved for now and the future.
