This will cause irreversible damage to the site. Who knows what archeological treasures will be destroyed. UNESCOs advisers advise against this going ahead in its current form. People can currently enjoy the view of the henge from the road - this new development will stop that forever. The land was shaped that way with purpose, who knows what rules by which the monument and the surrounding area were originally planned, altering this will erase this information for all time. The only way to see the stones will be to pay for the privilige. Something that belongs to the people of the UK will be lost to sight for all but the priviliged.
