My personal views are as follows:
It will cause irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and setting.
The site has been described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’Additionally UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. So why isn't there an alternative?
I have great concerns about the damage that could be caused to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting.
Why hasn't there been any alternative options given in the in consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site. For instance route the road elsewhere
The loss of the view of the stones from the road and the need to pay to see the Stones in future, it is after all a site of special religious significance to many Pagans.
The disturbance of rare bird species, Stone Curlew and Great Bustard, which should be protected as per RSPB guidelines. Or does this project fall outside of this requirement
LAstly there will be increased noise from faster traffic.
Please re-route the road elsewhere
