Besides the impact on the setting of the ancient Stonehenge Avenue, I am also concerned about the permanent negative effects to Neolithic and Bronze Age cemeteries, to the Blick Mead Mesolithic site, to the Vespasian's Camp, to Listed buildings, to the River Avon Special Area of Conservation, and to local wildlife - especially rare Stone Curlews in the nearby RSPB reserve - by the proposed new A303 Stonehenge Expressway.

We need to be listening to the advice from UNESCO, and prevent further damage to the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site.

Ideally, I would prefer an environment friendly solution that does not involve building more roads. However, if a tunnel is to be built at all, then it must be sufficiently deep and long to protect the WHS as a whole from irreparable damage.
