Stonehenge is a World Heritage Landscape with many upstanding monuments and probably many more underground. Many of these underground monuments have not been fully studied either by excavation or by non-evasive methods. The heritage that is The Stonehenge Landscape belongs not only to those in the UK but to a much wider audience. We are only ' trustees' of such landscapes and should do everything we can to ensure that they are cared for, not only for this generation but for future generations.
The A303 is only a road, the course of which could and should be altered to safe guard the future of such a world renown Landscape.
