With each decade new technologies arise which enable us to discover more about our ancient forebears and their culture. The opportunity to continue to learn from discovered and still to be revealed artifacts at this site will be severely compromised if proposed excavations for roading are implemented. In addition how they lived through changes in climate is of particular relevance to us now. The transport technologies which this road supports are at the root of present climate problems and it is irresponsible to further promote them by construction of this road. World heritage should mean just what it says. My people originally came from near this site. I strongly object to their remains being desecrated.
