This is an ill-conceived scheme that will cause irreparable damage to the World Heritage Site, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’ UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form There are also significant concerns about damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting I am concerned at a lack of alternative options in the consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site the increased traffic, with its increased noise and pollution, will cause major disturbance to rare bird species such as the Stone Curlew and Great Bustard
