I object to the development on the grounds that it will cause Irreparable damage to the World Heritage Site, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’ I'm also concerend about the impact on the Blick Mead Mesolithic site, effects on wildlife including the rare stone curlew and great bustard, the need to pay to see the Stones in future, and the inpact of increased and faster traffic. I'm also shocked and disturbed that such a proposal should be considered without an offering an alternative.

I am concerned about the Stonehenge road development site, because of the undoubted permanent damage it will cause to this most valuable world heritage site, its surrounding areas and setting, the archeology, wildlife - including rare bird species, which is valuable to us as citizens of this land and as a tourist attraction. The stones would no longer be visible from the road and it will mean people will have to pay to visit them. The traffic noise and pollution would further desacralise the stones themselves, never mind the physical damage just this in itself would cause. There must be an alternative proposal.
