This Ancient and Culturally unique Monument, Stonehenge, is held in Trust for all, in perpetuity, for our descendants, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, too precious to be the subject of undermining, and disturbance. The busy A road is a result of present useage by vehicles. An old policy of building, or tunnelling as a solution to the visual, does not take into account the imminent necessity to change our means of transport, due to Climatic Changes, and CO2, country wide. This venture is in uniquely changing times, and should be put on hold.

I would like to register as an 'Interested Party' I have just finished a lengthy Research into Stonehenge and the surrounding area, which I am about to type up for publication, this has new findings which prove the importance of this UNESCO protected Monument. If the Stonehenge environment were undermined, there would be no turning back. All over the modern World, many Ancient Monuments have been ruined, Stonehenge stands out as Britain's most important Ancient Monument, moreover it can be proved why. Stephanie Stephenson
