I strongly object to the 303 Stonehenge expressway because it will cause irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’.
In fact, UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form.
I am concerned about the damage to the Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting.
I find it worrying that there are NO alternative options in consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site.
The expressway will be a source of great disturbance for the rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard).
The expressway will cause an increase in noise from faster traffic.
