I am old enough to remember taking my young son to Stonehenge when access to the enormous stones was permitted. (I'm a British citizen and lived for many years in Central Dorset and South Wiltshire). I rode my Norton motorcycle from my home near Tisbury, Wilts, to work at Boscombe Down along the A303 past Stonehenge; seeing the stones come into view in the mornings gave me a great feeling of connectedness with that part of the Planet. My concern about the proposed bypass and tunnel is for the impact on the archeological impact on the overall site of which Stonehenge is the epicentre.
