I'm very concerned about the current plans disturbing this world famous UNESCO site and one of the most famous mesolithic sites in the world. The fact that all expert opinion seems to be being ignored as this A303 road planning is still going ahead despite concerns and representations from local residents. I am worried that there will be irreperable damage to this precious site. I am concerened that there are no alternatives to the original plan that would be less damaging. Iam very concerend that the monument will be obscured and that it will only viewable at a cost and I am very concerned that the unparalleled beauty of this labnd scape will be scarred and that there will be irreperable damage to the habitat of rare birds like the Stone curlew. Not much consideration for the effect of increased noise on local communities has been taken into account.
