I object to the desecration of this most sacred site. UNESCO have described the site as a 'landscape without parallel' and their international advisers have said that the scheme should not go ahead in it's present form. One of the finer sights of road travel in the British Isles is the view of Stonehenge as you travel along the A303. The scheme will take this away from the British public. New discoveries of our ancient heritage are constantly being made in and around the site. How much as yet undiscovered archaeology will the scheme destroy?
