I would like to object to the plans for the following reasons, 1 This may improve traffic flow in the short term but traffic will build again, indeed it will encourage traffic to use the route. - the money should be going to improve public transport such as rail and bus. 2 The view of the stones from the road will be lost and one will have to pay a large amount to see them. 3 Rare birds such as Stone Curlew and Great Bustard could be disturbed, both by the building works and by the faster traffic afterwards. 4There will be damage to the large number of archaeological sites in the area and to their setting.
