I am deeply concerned about the impact of the expansion of the A303 on Stonehenge, it being such an incredible historic monument. It brings people to Britain so is good for the economy, but it is so much more than that. It is powerful and beautiful, and it is OURS.

Stonehenge is unique and is a very powerful historic site. UNESCO's advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. I do not want to see ANY damage to this World Heritage Site, its archaeology or its setting. I am concerned about loss of view from the road as it is such a stunning, heart stopping sight. There appears to be a lack of alternative options that would not damage the site. There are also the rare bird species to take into account (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard), and the increased noise from more and faster traffic.
