I profounly object to the proposed irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and lanscape UNESCO’s international advisers say the proposal should not go ahead in the way it has been presented. There are valid concerns for very likely damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting There is appalling lack of alternative valid options in consultation that would not damage the WHS. The proposal inevitably causes a loss of the view from the road and obligation to pay to see the Stones in future There will be disturbance of rare bird species (Great Bustard and Stone Curlew), and increased noise from faster traffic
