This WHS, its archaeology and its setting will be seriously damaged by the proposals. Unesco have said that the scheme should not go ahead in this "landscape without parallel". The current view from the road will be lost and people will have to pay to see the stones, so the public will lose one of the most spectacular views of our ancient heritage in Britain. There will be damage to the Mesolithic site and setting of Blick Mead. There were no options which did not cause damage to the WHS in the consultation, these exist and should have been included if the consultation can be said to be comprehensive.
