This is known to be a landscape without parallel.
There is great risk of damage to this world heritage site, its setting and its archaeology.
There is a distinct lack of alternative options in the consultation that will not damage this world heritage site.
It is wonderful to be able to see this site from the road it is our heritage, to be unable to see this huge monument that has been part of our landscape so long without having to pay would be a disgrace.
International advisers from UNESCO also do not believe this scheme should go ahead.
