Damage to the World Heritage Site
In the consultation, no alternative given which would not do such damage
Conflict between such road proposals and the government's stated policy of acting to control global warming (the increased traffic and traffic speeds will do the opposite).
The loss of view of Stonehenge from the road
Loss of view from the road and making it impossible to view the stones without payment
Damage to the archaeology and setting of a World Heritage Site
Lack of alternative options which would not cause this damage, in the consultation 4.Increased noise and pollution from faster traffic and from its inecitable increase in volume
