The proposal will cause damage to the unique environment surrounding Stonehenge. The entire area is as important as the stones themselves. If not, we could move the stones elsewhere. So we have to protect the whole area and building access roads and tunnel entrances as planned will cause damage that is unacceptable. Either no scheme, or a longer tunnel that protects the key sites around Stonehenge that makes the whole area so special.
