I am objecting to the proposed scheme since in my opinion, this will cause irreparable damage to this World Heritage Site, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’. Once done, the damage cannot be undone.

UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. Concerns about damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting.

Despite several optional plans being suggested by several groups, there seems to have been a lack of consideration of alternative options in consultation, which would ensure it would not damage the World Heritage Site.

Loss of the view from the road and need to pay to see the Stones in future.

Disturbance of rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard).
