It is my understanding that the conditions of the original gift of Stonehenge and surrounding land, to the 'People', will be breached, if this proposal goes ahead.

Further to this, a site of world heritage will be irreversibly damaged if this proposal is implemented, which cannot be in our species best interest, or our attempts to understand and preserve a fuller picture of our past and the truly monumental achievements of our collective history. Perhaps, seeking financial support to help preserve our past, from international bodies could help, we cannot afford to destroy any more of our history. More financially expensive alternatives are possible, not perhaps as direct either though several thousand years to repair all damage seems rather a long seed period.
