  1. Stupid, reckless, wanton and irresponsible planning that will irreparably damage one of, if not the, most important of world heritage sites (and of course not just the stones but the whole of the surrounding Messolithic landscape.
  2. The arrogant refusal by Highways England to accept that the world's leading archaeologists might know a good deal more on this matter than they do.
  3. That arrogance underlined by the lack of any alternative non destructive options in the consultation.
