The Stonehenge site and surrounding area is described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’. This is a unique site which we hold in trust for future generations. The current proposals for the A303 favour cost over preservation of the site and UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form.
