UNESCO have described the ancient landscape including and surrounding Stonehenge as a "landscape without parallel". They do not believe that the scheme should go ahead in its current form and I agree with their expert opinion. The current proposal will cause irreparable damage to the landscape and its archaeology. One example in particular where damage could occur is the Blick Mead Mesolithic site. Therefore, I believe that further planning is necessary before any development of the road can occur.
