I am concerned that this will cause serious damage to the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge which is an ancient and important archaeological site as well as an important site for pagans. UNESCO have said that the scheme should not go ahead in its present form and I think their expertise should be heeded.
I don't understand why there are not alternative options in the consultation which do not cause damage.
I am also concerned that the disturbance and increased noise from traffic will cause damage to nature and wildlife in the area especially the rare species of the Stone Curlew and Great Bustard; and to the Blick Mead Mesolithic site.
Also I am not happy that the scheme will result in loss of view of the Stonehenge site from the road and the subsequent need to pay to see the site in future.
Thank you for your time.
