I object to the development of the A303 Expressway near the Stonhenge World Heritage Site.

The development of the expressway will cause irreparable damage to the Stonehenge site and archaeology.

The planning proposal has been commented on by UNESCO who insist the development should not go ahead.

There is a serious risk of increased noise, damage to habitat and a negeative impact on bird species such as stone curlews. Bird species are in serious decline across the UK as are their habitats.

There has been no consideration of alternatives to the A303 Expressway at a time when we should be reducing dependance on cars and switching to public transport.

This planning proposal should be rejected.

I reserve the right to amend my response.
