I have two primary concerns. I am deeply worried about the inevitable disturbance of the habitats of stone curlews and recently reintroduced Great Bustards which this development will entail. Secondly the scheme will irreparably damage a World Heritage Site, with a unique landscape. UNESCO’s international advisers are consequently against the scheme going forward in its present form. Alternative options should be considered.
