My concerns about the damage to an area of both national and international significance as the standing stones at Stonehenge are just a tiny part massive area of archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’ which will be irreparable damaged by this plan. This includes damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting as well as damage and disturbance to rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard) habitat. The lack of alternative options in the consultation, that would not damage this area. UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. The need to pay to see and visit an ancient ceremonial site where our ancients have held ceremonies and celebrated and commemorated so much for millennia. Increased noise and pollution from faster traffic
