Given that it is common place for archaeological sites of profound importance to be left in situ for future generations when archaeological techniques are further developed, it seems ridiculous that this site of unique international significance can be in parts excavated in its entirety without the ability to revisit or reinvestiagte. Even if excavated to the best of the current collective archaeological ability, it is likely, given the short but rapidly evolving nature of the subject, that opportunities to collect vital information will be missed or overlooked.
