Stonehenge is unique......if the archaeology is damaged irreparably we lose our heritage and our deeper understanding of our ancient ancestors. It will be a loss for the world and deprive future generations the chance to fully engage with the site described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’. Is it to be turned into some kind of purile 'Theme Park'? UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form so the experts should be carefully considered and listened to. Concerns about damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting Lack of alternative options in consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site. Deprivation of the view after 5000 years for the public without having to pay to see the site in the future. Disturbance of rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard) Increased noise from faster traffic
