This brief note is intended to register my objection to road building in the vicinity of Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I believe that the landscape of which Stonehenge is a part is a critical component of its value as a cultural resource. That landscape should be left undeveloped and free of vehicle traffic which will mar the qualities which make the site unique.
