I believe that the proposed development is undesirable because it will undermine some very important historical sites, and will not be good for the environment. Stonehenge has already suffered far too much damage over the centuries, and it is one of our most important historical sites, dating back to the very beginning of civilization. So, we have a duty to look after it for the future. We have learned in recent decades that bigger roads and new roads usually only lead to more traffic and more congestion, though still with the same problems that were there to begin with - just bigger problems and more of them. The environment always suffers. It is time we stopped putting cars and roads first, and started considering the environment, our heritage, and the QUALITY OF LIFE for everyone, and FOR THE FUTURE. This is why I oppose this development.
