The Stonehenge landscape is rich and full of remains of the ancient history of our ancestors. There is not much of our ancient landscapes left in this country due to land ownership, development, and government policies for expansion that increasingly encroach on green field sites. As an indigenous person of this country who can trace my ancestry back into the myths of pre-history, my ancient heritage, and preserving it, is of the upmost importance to me and my family. I strongly oppose the development of this area and believe it should remain protected as a world heritage site untouched by development and with free local public access (ancient byways of the people) kept open to all.
