Dear Sir/ madam , I beg of you to consider your actions before causing irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’, please listen to the advice of experts, UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form
There will always be more cars but no more ancient sites, We cannot get it back if we damage Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting there seems to be a lack of alternative options in consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site. Loss of the view from the road and need to pay to see the Stones in future not to mention the disturbance of rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard) Increased noise from faster traffic at what is one of our greatest archaeological assets., Please do not ruin the british countryside for the sake of a quicker commute. Your ancestors are worthy of the honour of having their sacred sites undisturbed Thank you
