If this were to go ahead there would be: Irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’ UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form There are also concerns about damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting. I believe there are a lack of alternative options in the consultation, that would not damage the World Heritage Site and more work needs to be done to find them. It is wrong to have to pay to see the site, which will happen if the tunnel goes ahead. It is our heritage am done of the great joy so of driving along that road is the awe that is unveiled as one passes the ancient beauty of Stonehenge. Please don’t throw that away.
