Irreparable damage to the site and setting of Stonehenge and Blick Mead as a UNESCO heritage site. UNESCO are against this tunnel going ahead. It will cut the site off from the road, giving visitors no option to visit, but to pay to view, especially those unable to walk far. Other options at the consultation were not seriously considered or stated. Other options would have had less impact on the world heritage site.
