I am deeply concerned that the proposed works will cause irreparable damage to this internationally important World Heritage Site, which has been described by UNESCO as a "landscape without parallel." Indeed UNESCO's own advisers have said that the scheme should not go ahead in it's present form. Furthermore, I am concerned that if this work goes ahead against UNESCO's advice, a disturbing precedent will be set, which will risk undermining the status and protection of other World Heritage Sites.

I am also deeply concerned about damage to the Blick Mead site and setting. The importance of this site is profound, and it is an integral part of the Stonehenge environment.

I am also deeply concerned about the disturbance that will be caused to rare species, such as the Great Bustard and Stone Curlew.

In my view, there has been insufficient consideration given in the consultation to alternative options that would not damage the World Heritage Site.
