I object to the proposed scheme due to the damaging effects it would have on archaeology, wildlife, and the public.

It would destroy much vital evidence about the landscape in which the site is situated, as well as other nearby historic sites. This has even been noted by UNESCORTED who have criticised the scheme.

It has potential to endanger local species, especially vulnerable birds.

Finally, it would mean that one of England's most prominent landmarks is only visible to those who have enough disposable income and time to pay to use the visitor's centre.
