Stonehenge is a World Heritage Site. Its archaeology and setting have been described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’ This should be protected. UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form There are concerns about damage to the Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting Loss of the view from the road and need to pay to see the Stones in future are unjustified. The site contains Stone Curlew and Great Bustard which are rare abd protected. The Increased traffic will cause disturbance at the WHS, with noise from faster traffic
