The project has seemingly not investigated other options to stop this desecration of a sacred landscape with World Heritage status. Notwithstanding the damage to the archaeological structure of this area and the affect that will be made on the rare flora and fauna here but the destruction of irreplaceable history is totally unacceptable. Understandably, progress must be made, but not to the detriment of an area with such high status placed upon it worldwide. And also the sacredness of the whole area, not just Stonehenge itself. This area has been worshipped at for thousands of years and will be seriously affected by the planned actions.
