I object to the A303Stonehenge Stonehenge because: It will cause damage to this WHS that can never be restored. As UNESCO has said, ‘it’s a landscape without parallel.’ This A303Stonehenge seems to be a scheme without parallel in it’s vandalism. Think of what your grand and great grandchildren will say of you if you give this scheme the go ahead, they will excrete your names as long as you’re remembered for having violated our national treasure, our precious Mesolithic landscape. Even UNESCO says this scheme shouldn’t go ahead. I am very concerned about damage to the Mesolithic site. I am also concerned about the harm to rare bird species. Am equally concerned that no-one will be able to see the stones without paying as their view from the road will be gone. Do we want fast or even faster traffic anywhere near this site, do you need a sanity test, of course not. Have you no understanding? I am outraged that there was no discussion of alternative options in your consultation.
