I am worried that our unique World Heritage Site at Stonehenge is about to be irreparably damaged for short term traffic management purposes. I am also concerned that, as a country, we are not adhering to our responsibilities in caring for this site. There are no “ameliorations” that can compensate for the damage that is proposed.
I truly feel that any scheme that causes any damage to any part of the whole extended site would be a crime, and one for which we will never be forgiven.
