Please reconsider this proposal. It will irreparably damage the landscape of one of the world's most iconic heritage sites (the view of UNESCO) and there are other solutions that will not. For Stonehenge, it is the surrounding landscape as much as the stones themselves that are important. This proposal will:-

  • Irreparably damage the preserved landscape
  • This damage is criticised vigorously by UNESCO
  • Damage to Blicks Mead is already a concern.
  • Other options have not been given suitable consideration and plans that would not damage the Heritage Area at all.
