Stonehenge is a World Heritage Site and the most important archaeological site in this country. I, therefore, object to the A303 Stonehenge Expressway on the following grounds:- 1 The irreparable damage to this unique site, its archaeology and setting which will result from the implementation of this scheme. 2 UNESCO international advisers do not support the scheme in its present form. 3 Untold damage will be done to the Blick Mead mesolithic site and its setting. 4 No alternative options have been put forward that would not damage this unique site. 5 There will be disturbance to rare flora and fauna.
