I wish to make the following points against the planning application:-

It will result in irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’. UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form There are real concerns about damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting There are a lack of alternative options in consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site There would be loss of the view from the road and need to pay to see the Stones in future There would be unacceptable disturbance of rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard) There would be a considerable increase in noise pollution from faster traffic
